Alyse Killeen MS (Health Psychology) MBA, founding Partner at StillMark Co., is a Venture Capital Investor with seed stage to pre-IPO investment experience in enterprise and consumer technologies. Now focused on global innovation in the finance, healthcare, and new marketplace arenas, she continues to advise investors and executive teams in enterprise and consumer technologies and applications broadly.
An international speaker on the subjects of blockchain technology, the sharing economy, IoT, and the growth of innovation ecosystems, Alyse has presented for institutions and events including the California Institute of Technology, the International Monetary Fund, USA Today, and TechCrunch Disrupt Beijing. Featured in publications including Forbes and Bloomberg, in 2015 Alyse authored a book chapter in the award-winning Handbook of Digital Currency: The Confluence of Bitcoin and the Global Sharing Economy.
Alyse is a Mentor at the Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play Tech Center in the Fintech and Bitcoin accelerator track and at the Valley’s Alchemist Accelerator, and a member of the Expert Network at New York Fashion Tech Lab (an accelerator cofounded by the NYC Partnership Fund and Spring Board Enterprises). She is on the Advisory Board of several leading early stage technology companies, including blockchain infrastructure companies Netki and Factom, and new marketplace companies Swoonery, Emerald & Palm, and WearAway. Alyse is a member of the Board of Directors at BitGive, a startup NGO modernizing the nonprofit ecosystem using blockchain technology. BitGive was Bitcoin’s first 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and has been partnering with international relief efforts and local charities since 2013.
With a focus on developing innovation hubs, Alyse founded and is the Director of City Fellows Consortium (2015) and Women in Venture (2013). City Fellows is a private league for top undergraduate engineers, bridging the gap between classroom and the local tech communities now in LA, NYC and Singapore. Women in Venture is a professional network for investors in the field of traditional venture capital.
Alyse is a member of the Satoshi Roundtable, an annual retreat for the top 50 thought leaders in blockchain technology, and in 2015, the UN Foundation named her a Top 70 Bay Area Digital Leader.
