Byron was previously at Gilt Groupe, joining as an early marketer, and later leading the company’s corporate development efforts. He launched the company’s CRM marketing efforts, while working closely with the product team to build out the first loyalty platform. He later led the company’s corporate development efforts, including the sale of Jetsetter to TripAdvisor, debt/equity fundraising, and launching the company’s third-party distribution business. Prior to Gilt Groupe, Byron worked in investment banking at Sagent Advisors, focusing on food, drug and specialty retail M&A.
Byron earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University.
