Michael has over 15 years of international business experience with stints at L’Oreal, LVMH and Swatch Group. Most recently he spent six years as President of Breguet North America, overseeing the revival of the Swatch Group’s flagship luxury brand, achieving sales growth of 250% over that time. With Breguet, he built out the brand’s retail and wholesale networks in the US and Canada, launched their social media platform and negotiated groundbreaking partnerships with institutions like Carnegie Hall, the New York Philharmonic and the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.

After graduating with a B.A. in economics from Lafayette College, Michael started his career as an analyst for Management Planning, Inc., a boutique management consulting and investment firm in Princeton, NJ. From there, in 1999, he started SimplyTakeout.com, a restaurant takeout ordering platform and backend management system (a competitor to Seamless/GrubHub). Forced to close the doors on the startup in 2002, he attended Rutgers University and earned an MBA in marketing.

After nearly two decades in business, Michael has developed a deep understanding of luxury brand building and a strong financial background to compliment his startup experience.
